Manage your data with phpMyAdmin

Updated 10 hours ago 3 views

phpMyAdmin lets you work with your MySQL databases in the browser: look at tables, search and change data, run SQL, and export or import whole databases.

Signing in

  1. Go to https://maplegrovepartners.com/db_admin/, or use the phpMyAdmin tile in the Control Panel.
  2. Sign in with your database user (shown under MySQL databases) and its password. See Create a MySQL database for where the password comes from.

You see only your own databases.

Common tasks

  • Back up a database: select it, Export, Quick, format SQL, Export. Keep the file somewhere safe.
  • Restore or move a database: select the (empty) target database, Import, choose the .sql file, Import. Large files may take a while; if they are too large for the browser, contact us.
  • Find something: select the database, Search, enter the words and choose the tables.
  • Change one value: browse the table, Edit on the row, change the field, Go.

Be careful

Changes in phpMyAdmin take effect immediately and cannot be undone. Export the database before larger changes. Never change the structure of a WordPress (or other application) database by hand unless you know what the application expects; use its own tools where they exist.

Sign out when you are done, especially on a shared computer.
